The Mississippi Main Street Association (MMSA) celebrated downtown revitalization success and announced statewide award winners at its 2025 Annual Awards Luncheon at The South in downtown Jackson.
The Starkville Main Street Association received three statewide honors during the 2025 Mississippi Main Street Annual Awards Ceremony held in Jackson.
Recognized for two awards in the Organization awards category, Reed’s of Starkville was honored for Making Main Merry, Starkville’s community-wide Christmas decorating day, and the City of Starkville was honored for the ‘How to Plan an Event Guide’ which leads to multiple events being planned downtown each year.
In the Promotional awards category, The Guest Room was honored for their Santa’s Surf Shop & Miracle Under Main holiday-themed events that draw thousands of customers to downtown each year.
The Partnership is comprised of the Starkville Area Chamber of Commerce, Oktibbeha County Economic Development Authority, Starkville Convention and Visitors Bureau and the Starkville Main Street Association.
