What is the King Cotton Crawfish Boil?
The King Cotton Crawfish Boil is Starkville Main Street Association’s largest spring fundraiser. Cooking teams compete by preparing crawfish and ticket holders vote on their favorite team, enjoy tastings, live music, and drinks while supporting SMSA.
When is King Cotton Crawfish Boil?
The King Cotton Crawfish Boil will take place from 3 – 6 p.m. on Saturday, April 26th at the Hub Plaza in downtown Starkville. The Hub is located at 301 East Main Street, and the entrance gate will be near Reed’s.
How do I purchase tickets?
Tickets include UNLIMITED CRAWFISH TASTINGS from our teams, and are $30 in advance online. Discounted online ticket sales END at 5 p.m. on Friday, April 25th. Be mindful to purchase your ticket through our valid ticketing website and beware of scammers on social media! EARLY CHECK-IN is also available this year, see more below.
Tickets will be sold at the entry gate on Saturday as early as 2:45 p.m. for $40. Exact change, Credit Card, and Venmo are acceptable forms of payment.
Ticket holders are also encouraged to purchase drink tickets. Beer & seltzers will be $5, with soda and water available for $3 during the event. Coolers are not allowed. Restrooms will be on site.
Event Requirements & Things to Know
Everyone who enters the event area must have a wristband – this is a fundraiser, and even if you don’t eat crawfish, there are drinks available and live music from The Jason Miller Band. Children 10 & under enter free.
Upon arrival, ticket holders will receive the ‘top secret’ voting apparatus and you must vote for your favorite team by 5:30 p.m. Although we love our furry friends, we ask that you leave your pets at home.
