When you walk through the doors of State Floral, you are met with the fresh scent of flowers and a view of gifts from wall to wall. The dark wall adorned with the shop’s name in gold creates a high-end space.
A Brandon, MS native, Allison Siddall opened State Floral in 2018. Located just off Main Street on University Drive, the shop is in the center of Starkville.
After several years crafting beautiful bouquets from her home, Siddall’s business grew bigger and bigger until she finally opened her shop in Midtown. Starkville’s need for an upscale florist was met.
State Floral provides elegant arrangements for every event, and customers can choose from an endless amount of flowers. Each bouquet is different and created with the recipient in mind.
“I would say what makes us unique is our attention to detail,” Siddall said. “We order distinctive flowers that speak for themselves.”
Employees at the shop have a vast knowledge of floral design.
The business provides the perfect arrangements for weddings, sympathy, holiday and everyday occasions like birthdays.
Just as the flowers change with the season, the gifts inside the store change. In the winter, Christmas décor fills the tables. State Floral is packed with pumpkins and other fall embellishments in the fall. Recruitment and Bid Day packages are available for sororities on the MSU campus.
Small gifts such as candles, teddy bears, pottery crosses, water bottles, and so much more are available in store and online to add something special to your arrangement.
State Floral’s hours are Monday-Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
