These are some of the frequently asked questions we get about Starkville Chamber of Commerce membership. If you have additional questions, please contact us.
Do I have to live in Starkville to become a member?
No. Anyone can become a member of The Partnership.
Do I have to pay my membership fees all at once?
No. We want to accommodate your financial needs so you can be billed monthly, quarterly, semi-annually, or annually.
Which membership is best for me?
There are benefits that speak to all stages of the business cycle. If you want to dip your toe in the water, then Business Partner is the level for you, but if you want to elevate your business name through The Partnership while also getting to market and network, you should select Business Partners Plus. If you want to help advance The Partnership’s mission and give back, you should join The Leadership Circle!
How do I get involved with the Chamber?
First, make sure you are receiving Partnership emails. Most of our communication comes via email.
Second, come to everything! Take advantage of all the marketing opportunities and network with other members.
Your Partnership membership always supports the mission of the organization, but taking advantage of all the tangible benefits can be beneficial for your business!
Do you have separate memberships for the Chamber and Main Street?
There is a Chamber Membership and a Main Street Membership. Chamber Membership is a tiered dues structure that is based on member benefits. Main Street Membership is a flat rate of $135. You have to be a member of the Chamber to purchase the Main Street Membership.
What does The Partnership stand for?
The Partnership aims to promote a healthy and vibrant Starkville and business community. All of our entities: Chamber, Convention and Visitors Bureau, Main Street Association, and Economic Development work together to support the betterment and sustainment of Starkville.
How do I know what member benefits to take advantage of?
Take advantage of it all! All of the networking, marketing, and continuing education opportunities are here and tailored toward local business needs. We created a member guide to help you along. We are always asking the membership for direction on programming ideas.
What if I don’t have time to utilize my membership?
Your Partnership membership is always working for you! Our focus areas are Quality of Life, Education, partnering with our local schools to provide mentoring, job shadowing, and other opportunities, and ensuring our community is safe and healthy.
What if I am not getting emails from The Partnership?
The number one way we stay in touch is through email. We will send you an initial email with a login to our membership portal, Chambermaster. Once you get that email and verify your information, you should be good to go!
