Sami’s platform is “Senior Pets Deserve Love”. Sami is 18 years old. Her previous owner had to get rid of her after having her for 17 years. I could not let sweet Sami go without a home, so I adopted her in November 2022. She turned 18 in January and is still slaying! Sami wants to bring awareness to the many senior pets who are in need of good homes.
Studies have shown that senior pets are much less likely to be adopted from shelters than younger pets.
Most families would prefer getting a kitten or a puppy, however Sami wants to show the Starkville community that there are many benefits to having an older pet!
