Name
Roscoe
Slogan
“Its not where you start, it’s where you finish that truly matters”
Roscoe is a 5 month old hound adopted from the Oktibbeha County Humane Society. DNA results from Embark notes that Roscoe is 50% American foxhound, 30% beagle, and 20% German Shorthair Pointer. We think Roscoe is 100% loved!
Platform
Roscoe’s favorite activity is exploring new places to sniff all the smells! Roscoe will run for Pet Mayor and encourage everyone to get outside and explore!
Roscoe came to us only two months ago. In that time he loves going to Dorman Lake to walk and smell the grass and Tractor Supply to work on obedience/lesh training around people (and to see the baby chicks!). Roscoe can’t wait until cooler weather (when the snakes are not out) to walk the trails at the Noxubee Refuge. His family’s favorite trail is Scattertown and he knows he will love to explore it!
Roscoe is a super smart boy and he has a strong desire to earn praise. When he learns to control puppy excitement, Roscoe will be a great ambassador to encourage everyone to get out and explore the sights – and smells – around the Starkville community. Joy can be seen all over Roscoe’s face and mannerisms when he is in a new setting and seeing things for the first time.
