Mississippi State University Golf Course

The Mississippi State University Golf Course is the host facility for the MSU PGA Golf Management program, MSU Men’s & Women’s Golf Teams and the MSU Golf and Sports Turf Management Program

The MSU Golf Course was designed by Brian Ault, ASGCA, in 1985 and opened in 1986. It has 18 holes and is 6,972 yards. It has been recognized in several publications:

• Top 30 university-owned golf courses – Golfweek Magazine
• 5th best public course in Mississippi – Golf Digest (1996)
• “Places to Play” – 1991, 1994, and 1996-97
• “best college course in the South” – Golf Digest in December 1996

The course hosts the MSU PGA Golf Management program, MSU Men and Women’s Golf Teams, and the MSU Golf and Sports Turf Management Program.

You’ll find one of the finest practice facilities here at the course, with more than seventeen acres. The course also offers private lessons and fittings. The Golf Shop has officially licensed MSU golf apparel, equipment, and souvenirs.
