Orientation season is officially underway, and Starkville is excited to welcome incoming Mississippi State students and their families to the community this June & early July.
As visitors explore campus and prepare for the upcoming school year, orientation also offers a chance to experience everything Starkville has to offer — to community events and downtown attractions, and local restaurants and shopping through our Dine Around & Shop Around programs.
27 participating retailers offer $10 off a purchase of $50 or more for visitors showing their badge through the annual Shop Around program, and restaurants accept vouchers through the Orientation Dine Around program which gives guests a chance to get their first bite at local food favorites, all while supporting local.
The Starkville Partnership is proud to help welcome new students as they begin this exciting chapter. Orientation participants are encouraged to take advantage of these special offerings and support local businesses and enjoy all that makes Starkville feel like home.
We look forward to another great year and wish all incoming students a successful start at Mississippi State. Hail State!
