The Starkville Main Street Association has announced Starkville’s annual Christmas Parade presented by Reed’s will be held on Monday, Nov. 27, at 6 p.m. on Main Street.
Being honored as this year’s Grand Marshal is the City of Starkville’s Vice Mayor Roy A. Perkins.

A proud native of Starkville with numerous accolades and honors throughout his tenure, Vice Mayor Perkins was first elected to represent Ward 6 in 1993 and surpassed 30 years of service and leadership for the city this summer. He has served as Vice Mayor for four consecutive terms.
Bo Summerford, President of Reed’s said, “Reed’s is proud to support the annual Christmas parade as this event brings the community and MSU campus together and celebrates Starkville’s many accomplishments.”
This year’s theme for all the upcoming Christmas events for the Main Street Association is “All is Bright” as a nod to the positive momentum of Starkville and MSU’s leadership and community development efforts.
Parade applications are available online or by visiting starkville.org/visit/events/starkville-christmas-parade/.

The entry fee for parade participation is $25 and can be made payable online to the Starkville Main Street Association. All local and community organizations are encouraged to participate and attend.
