Spring in Starkville means sunshine, community, and one of our favorite traditions: the King Cotton Crawfish Boil. Happening this Saturday, April 11th, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at The Hub Plaza (301 E. Main Street), the Crawfish Boil will once again transform downtown Starkville into a lively celebration of food and community.

The King Cotton Crawfish Boil is more than just a meal, it’s a showdown. 16 local cooking teams fire up their pots and compete for bragging rights, each bringing their own spin on classic crawfish with all the fixings.
Tickets are $30 in advance or $40 the day of the event, and they get you unlimited crawfish tastings so come ready to indulge. Pair your samples with refreshing beverages available for purchase of $2 or $4 on-site from Clark Beverage Company. The event also features live music from the Jason Miller Band.

Planning ahead? You can check in and purchase advance tickets at the Greater Starkville Development Partnership office on Friday, April 10, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. To check-in the day of the event head to the Reed’s Parking Lot – entry begins at 1 p.m. sharp. If you plan to buy your ticket the day of the event, please note that payment must be made with exact cash, credit card, or Venmo.
This event would not be possible without our sponsors and partners: Clark Beverage, Bell Building Supply, Reed’s, Rosey Baby, & Boardtown Pizza & Pints.
Whether you’re a crawfish connoisseur or just in it for the fun, this is one springtime tradition you won’t want to miss. Bring your friends, bring your appetite, and we’ll see you at the boil!
