As Memorial Day weekend approaches, the Starkville community is invited to come together to honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.
Starkville’s Memorial Day Celebration will take place Monday, May 25, at 11:00 a.m. at the Oktibbeha County Courthouse located at 101 East Main Street.
Memorial Day is more than the start of summer. It is a time to pause, reflect, and show gratitude for the sacrifices made by generations of service members and their families. This annual ceremony gives our community an opportunity to gather together in remembrance and appreciation.
Community members, veterans, families, and visitors are all encouraged to attend as we honor those who served and remember those who never made it home.
