Celebrate freedom and unity at Juneteenth events. The Starkvegas Juneteenth Committee for Unity is hosting events from June 14-19, 2023 to celebrate the holiday. Beginning with an evening prayer of unity at Unity Park on the 14th, the festivities are sure to provide enlightenment and celebration for all. Great music from local artists can be found throughout the weekend, with events like the West Side Soul Festival, Juneteenth Jazz Festival, and Juneteenth Gospel Festival. The festivities all culminate on June 19th, 2023, with a youth art gallery and exhibition at JL King Park.
The beach is just a step outside your door. Enjoy a Jimmy Buffet-themed Downtown @ Sundown, presented by Starkville Properties, happening June 22, 2023. Starting at 7 p.m., enjoy live music from the Copper Tunes, and join us for our grand luau.
