They say you can’t buy happiness, but leaving Belles Nail Bar with a fresh set of nails is actively proving that classic proverb wrong. Ranging from manicures and pedicures, gel polish to acrylic and dip nails, and facials to face and full body waxing, the returning 5-star nail salon is coming back with a bang!
The business held its official grand re-opening this past September and looks forward to rebuilding the genuine relationships with the Starkville community which drew the owner, Aaron Weiss, back to the city in the first place.
PAINTING NAILS WITH FLYING COLORS

Belle’s Nail Bar is notably accomplished with six consecutive Best Nail Salon awards, two consecutive Best Customer Service awards, Best Spa, Best Facials, and Business of the Year from the 2020 People’s Choice Best of Starkville, awarded by the Starkville Daily News.
LENDING A HELPING HAND
The staff of Belle’s Nail Bar also has a close-knit relationship with each other at the nail salon. Their current staff of 12, also known as their Belle Beauties, all know the benefits and importance of having a fun and laid-back working environment. Weiss describes the emphasis on hiring nail technicians from diverse backgrounds and the benefits of having different personalities in the salon.
“We are proud to hire a diverse nail crew. We give people chances that might be hard for them otherwise,” said Weiss.

The business itself values customer service and enjoys creating relationships with its guests. Seeing customers outside of the salon representing their nail salon provides an immense sense of pride and satisfaction for their employees.
“Seeing people in town stop us and tell us they had a great experience in our business [is my favorite part of owning a business in Starkville.] We love to put smiles on our client’s faces,” said Weiss.
SUPPORTING THE COMMUNITY
Weiss has shown support for Starkville in so many different, influential ways during his 15 years living here.
The business is a current member and donor to Starkville Strong and also financially contributed to fundraisers and local events in Starkville. The nail bar is also a donor to Habitat for Humanity and local SOSD fundraiser events.
“We love the small community and the hospitality. It’s nice to be able to get to know your clients on a more personal level. We live in Starkville and are invested in our community,” said Weiss.
The business has also been known to sponsor girls for beauty pageants and dances and sponsor summer camps for underprivileged children in the Starkville area.

BELLE’S NAIL BAR AND THE PARTNERSHIP
Belle’s Nail Bar’s relationship with the Partnership is still in early bloom though it is flourishing each and every day. The relationship began this year with the ribbon-cutting ceremony in September 2021.
The nail salon joined the Partnership to show their support for Starkville and the local businesses here. The beginning steps have already started to be taken with support from other chamber businesses such as Scotty’s Wine and Spirits, J. Parkerson Jewelers Diamonds & Fine Jewelry, and The Flower Company, all being shown during their grand re-opening.
