2006 AWARD WINNER BELL BUILDING SUPPLY Steven Dewberry (right), grandson of the late R. Clay Simmons, presented the prestigious Clay Simmons Exemplary Enterprise Award to Harry Bell of Bell Building Supply. The company generously supports numerous organizations and causes, including Starkville youth soccer and basketball teams, Starkville Baseball Association, Heart to Heart Hospice, Palmer Home for Children, Habitat for Humanity, Oktibbeha County Humane Society, Boys and Girls Club, area volunteer fire departments, Oktibbeha County Sheriffís Department, Starkville Police Department, and Loading Zone. Their innovative and creative business practices have been featured in Hardware Age, Do It Yourself Retailing, and Distribution America Partners magazines. They serve on the Sentry Hardware National Dealer Council and Moore Handley Dealer Advisory Board. They have also been voted as Starkvilleís "Best Building Supply, Hardware, and Paint Store".
