Composition of Oktibbeha County Economic Development Authority as established by legislation includes the mayors of the three municipalities in the county and one representative from each of the five supervisor's districts. The Oktibbeha County Board of Supervisors appoints these representatives for five-year terms. In addition to policy-making and oversight responsibility, the Authority is authorized to purchase, sell, lease, and otherwise acquire property and to arrange financing for this purpose.
